Elegant, refined and utterly aromatic – this is Earl Grey reimagined. Our master tea blenders have crafted a refined tea experience with a classy fusion of flavours.

Quantity

Most Earl Greys use a poor quality base tea and load on bergamot flavouring, which is like palming yourself off as landed gentry when all you own is a Barbour jacket. We use the finest Darjeeling from the foothills of the Himalayas and add the zesty, citrus bergamot and lime flavours of the mediterranean to create something altogether more elegant. The blue cornflowers? Well, they just look so pretty.

We have a fascinating story to tell you about the origins of Darjeeling earl grey black tea.

Let’s start with Darjeeling tea.

Darjeeling is located in the northernmost district of West Bengal, Eastern India. Bordered by Nepal in the west, it is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas which means it’s pretty high altitude-wise. The plant that Darjeeling tea comes from is grown in cool wet conditions. What makes Darjeeling tea special is that only tea certified by the Tea Board of India can be labeled as Darjeeling.
